Calculation of points

We rank only the 14′ foot, hard board category and only the top 20 male and top 10 female.

Points scored from a race depends on two factors:

  • The ranking of the race itself (see the parts)
  • The placement of the athlete

Scoring based on placement is as follows:

Women

1.  25

2.  20

3.  16

4.  13

5.  10

6.   8

7.   6

8.   4

9.   2

10. 1

Men

1.   40

2.   35

3.   31

4.   27

5.   24

6.   22

7.   20

8.   18

9.   16

10. 14

11. 12

12. 10

13.   8

– and downwards from here, one by one, so the 20th place get 1 point.

An example:

Let’s take the ranking of the event from the previous example: 13.89

If a male athlete ends in 4th place, he will get  13.89 X 27 =375.03 points.

If the same event is won by a female athlete she will get 13.89 X 25=347.25 points.
